Hey guys, so as many of us know, eating disorders usually have a very negative effect on hair and hair growth. You may notice that your hair starts to fall out, shed like crazy , become brittle and dry or even stop growing. This is caused by vitamin deficiencies and electrolyte imbalances. I have complied a list of hair care tips as well as how I take care of my hair below.

My Hair Care Routine:
Do a hot oil treatment three times a week.
Shampoo and condition three times a week.
Detangle hair with fingers and a wide tooth comb.
Use leave in conditioner and hair serum daily.
Wear hair in a bun.
Hair Care Tips:
Do hot oil treatments at least twice a week.
Use a hair mask or deep conditioner at least twice a week
Shampoo your hair every few days instead of everyday.
Stay away from using blow dryers, flat irons or curling irons.
Use heat protectant when you do use heat on your hair.
Use a leave in conditioner and hair serum on your hair after washing it and whenever it gets dry.
Detangle your hair with a wide tooth comb instead of a brush.
Get your split ends trimmed as you find them.
Use dry shampoo in between wash days if your hair gets oily.
Take biotin, hair skin and nail vitamins, a daily multivitamin or iron pills to keep your body healthy and your hair nice and strong.
Eat a lot of protein, fruits, vegetables and a good amount of healthy fats.
Only brush your hair if you have straight hair and only do it once or twice a day.
Don't dye or chemically treat your hair too often.
